My Big Black Nothing project is taking shape… Just got a new camera. A 4×5 Horseman FA with a 135mm lens. pretty portable for being large format. Dead Porcupine mag just featured my project, where you can read some of my thoughts.

About 6 months ago I realized that the general umbrella for my photography work is Landscape/Nature photography. Primarily focusing on the physical and psychological border between wilderness and civilization.
I have never been interested in photographing sunsets and waterfalls. My attention is more drawn to the space which define and show our vulnerability as humans. basically im interested in gathering visual information that tear down our illusion of being alpha-omega and the center of the universe.
Hopefully this project will evolve over time, and at some point I am looking to publish and exhibit it… check my “sketchbook” here

After having been experimenting and working hard on the prints it was finally time to pack it all up… It is strange sensation standing in that place with nothing on the walls and everything put in tubes and portfolios. The show will be in Antwerp, Belgium at the M3 Space tomorrow. hope to see you there…
